Meet The Team


Bill Reeves

FOUNDER / CEO

Bill Reeves has extensive experience in the Christian product industry since 1988 in Christian retail roles, then with Word Entertainment / Warner in distribution support for recording artists such as Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. At Big Idea Productions, Reeves led Christian retail product licensing and distribution for the successful VeggieTales® brand and worked on the theatrical release of Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. During his tenure at Thomas Nelson Publishers / HarperCollins, he served as Executive Producer of several children’s video properties, including Max Lucado's “Hermie & Friends”® series. As VP of Marketing for Propeller Consulting, he participated in the marketing launches of leading faith-based films such as Fireproof, Courageous, and Soul Surfer, and led the consumer products campaigns for the Kendrick Brothers’ films, including serving as the agent for the New York Times #1 best-selling book, “The Love Dare”, and many other charting books. In 2009, Reeves launched Working Title Agency, later to become WTA Media, to develop his business where he has led the marketing campaigns for such films as 90 Minutes in Heaven, The Ultimate Lifeand God’s Not Dead. The agency has also steered the release of films such as Heaven is for Real, War Room, and I Can Only Imagine. He has spoken at Sundance Film Festival, Christian Worldview Film Festival, and Sunscreen Film Festival. In 2019, Reeves became the CEO of Educational Media Foundation, parent organization of the K-LOVE and Air1 radio networks, and which acquired WTA Media. 

Brian Mitchell

PRESIDENT

Brian Mitchell has extensive entertainment industry experience beginning in 1986 in radio broadcast roles, and then record executive leadership positions at Provident / Sony and Capitol / Universal, including General Manager of Essential Records, launching artists such as Jars of Clay and Third Day. While at Thomas Nelson Publishers / HarperCollins as Vice President of Marketing, he led multiple book imprints to 14 New York Times bestselling books from authors such as William J. Bennett, Michael Savage, Denise Jackson and Ed McMahon. Mitchell served at Big Idea Entertainment / DreamWorks Animation as Vice President of Marketing and Licensing for the VeggieTales® brand before joining WTA Media in 2013. In his current role as President of WTA Media, he develops business strategies and plans for the company, guides literary and consumer products licensing initiatives, and contributes his marketing expertise to theatrical, home video, and digital distribution campaigns for top grossing films such as Heaven Is For RealWar Room, and I Can Only Imagine.

Dave Schroeder

DIRECTOR OF PUBLISHING AND CONSUMER PRODUCTS

Dave Schroeder is a leader in literary and consumer products licensing. As Vice President of Marketing at B&H Publishing Group / LifeWay he led the marketing and creative team while developing strategies for books, Bibles (CSB, NKJV, KJV), children’s books, academic, and Spanish language resources. During his tenure, he implemented marketing campaigns for New York Times and other bestselling books by Lecrae, Alex Kendrick, Stephen Kendrick, Priscilla Shirer, Louie Giglio, and Andrew Peterson. While at Thomas Nelson Publishers / HarperCollins, Dave lead the marketing for bestselling books by Max Lucado, William J. Bennett, Sheila Walsh, Eric Metaxas, and Denise Jackson (#1 New York Times bestseller). Prior to his work in book publishing, he served at Swank Motion Pictures promoting films from Walt Disney Pictures, DreamWorks SKG, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Sony, Universal, Lionsgate, and IFC Films. Dave’s film and publishing experience now lends itself to his current role in leading WTA Media publishing efforts.

Adam Hastings

EXECUTIVE MARKETING DIRECTOR

Adam Hastings has over a decade of entertainment industry experience in both film and music, guiding the marketing campaigns and consulting for brands such as the God’s Not Dead franchise and top Christian recording artist, Newsboys. While at Pure Flix Entertainment, he served as Vice President of Theatrical Marketing and led campaigns for films such as Do You Believe?, Woodlawn, and God’s Not Dead 2. Hastings worked as an independent marketing consultant alongside WTA Media on several projects, including co-leading the theatrical campaign for the Tim Tebow executive produced film, Run the Race, before joining WTA Media as Senior Marketing Director in 2019. In his role, Hastings continues to lead theatrical marketing campaigns and assist in home entertainment marketing initiatives.

Jen Roberts

SENIOR MARKETING DIRECTOR

Jen Roberts has extensive entertainment marketing experience with such companies as NBC Universal, Paramount, Disney, and Starz. She has extensive experience across all aspects of marketing in the theatrical, digital and packaged goods spaces. Most recently, she served as SVP Marketing at Anchor Bay Entertainment and was instrumental in leading the marketing and execution of both tent-pole and indie films, including marketing for Academy Award-winning and nominated films such as, The King’s Speech and Silver Linings Playbook. As Senior Marketing Director of WTA Media, Roberts continues to drive successful marketing campaigns for films such as Forever My Girl and The Miracle Season, and has led key initiatives for films such as Breakthrough, Apollo 11 and Run The Race.

Jaime Vaughn

MARKETING MANAGER
 
Jaime Vaughn has a wide range of marketing and sales experience in the entertainment industry. She spent a decade at Word Entertainment / Warner Music Group as the Director of Sales and Marketing, working with legacy artists like Point of Grace and Big Daddy Weave, launching groups such as forKing&Country, Sidewalk Prophets, and We Are Messengers on to the national scene. She also worked with film and television properties like VeggieTales and “When Calls the Heart”, carrying her consumer knowledge to Lifeway’s Global division working in Africa, Australia and New Zealand. As a Media Strategist for Salem Media Group’s CCM Magazine and Singing News Magazine, she's worked with Christian music artists across all genres helping to build their ministries. Jaime became the face of both proprieties as a reporter interviewing artists like MercyMe, Bill Gaither, Steven Curtis Chapman, Harry Connick, Jr., CeCe Winans, Kathie Lee Gifford, and many more. In her current role as Marketing Manager, Jaime brings her years of experience in both film and books to the WTA Media team.

Laura Beth Winchester

MARKETING MANAGER

Laura Beth Winchester has previously led project management, social media marketing and client relations, bringing years of organizational skills to the WTA team. Additionally, she has managed and curated countless projects including large-scale corporate and university events at her alma mater, Trevecca Nazarene University. Joining WTA Media in 2019 as Marketing Specialist, Winchester works in support of the executive team, assisting in client-facing communication, social media marketing, and helping execute marketing and strategic plans for film campaigns such as the critically acclaimed, Emanuel, I Still Believe, and Finding You among other projects. 

Krystal Gorte

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Krystal Gorte has many years of executive assistance experience. She held the role of Assistant Marketing Director for Five & Two Pictures, where she coordinated advertising placements and managed relationships with influential leaders for endorsements and promotions. Gorte was on staff with Dun & Bradstreet for nearly thirteen years in sales and sales management roles. Additionally, she has worked as a freelance marketing consultant and managed group sales for theatrical events. In her role as Executive Assistant at WTA Media she continues to offer marketing support, office management, and administrative assistance to the President and key executives on the team.

Anita Williams

FINANCE SPECIALIST

Anita Williams provides organizational and administrative expertise in the entertainment industry, beginning at Integrity Music, where she managed the production schedule and live recording events for recording artists such as Don Moen, Marty Nystrom, and Paul Baloche. During her tenure at Word Entertainment / Warner Music Group, Anita assisted the Executive Vice President of Distribution and organized sales events surrounding the album releases of top-selling artists such as Amy Grant, Randy Travis, Point of Grace, MercyMe and others. Anita serves as Finance Specialist for WTA Media, coordinating the company's accounting, royalty administration, and business affairs processes.
