President
Brian Mitchell has extensive entertainment industry experience beginning in 1986 in radio broadcast roles, and then record executive leadership positions at Provident / Sony and Capitol / Universal, including General Manager of Essential Records, launching artists such as Jars of Clay and Third Day. While at Thomas Nelson Publishers / HarperCollins as Vice President of Marketing, he led multiple book imprints to 14 New York Times bestselling books from authors such as William J. Bennett, Michael Savage, Denise Jackson and Ed McMahon. Mitchell served at Big Idea Entertainment / DreamWorks Animation as Vice President of Marketing and Licensing for the VeggieTales® brand before joining WTA Media in 2013. In his current role as President of WTA Media, he develops business strategies and plans for the company, guides literary and consumer products licensing initiatives, and contributes his marketing expertise to theatrical, home video, and digital distribution campaigns for top grossing films such as Heaven Is For Real, War Room, and I Can Only Imagine.
Executive Director, Publishing
Dave Schroeder is a leader in literary and consumer products licensing. As Vice President of Marketing at B&H Publishing Group / LifeWay he led the marketing and creative team while developing strategies for books, Bibles (CSB, NKJV, KJV), children’s books, academic, and Spanish language resources. During his tenure, he implemented marketing campaigns for New York Times and other bestselling books by Lecrae, Alex Kendrick, Stephen Kendrick, Priscilla Shirer, Louie Giglio, and Andrew Peterson. While at Thomas Nelson Publishers / HarperCollins, Dave lead the marketing for bestselling books by Max Lucado, William J. Bennett, Sheila Walsh, Eric Metaxas, and Denise Jackson (#1 New York Times bestseller). Prior to his work in book publishing, he served at Swank Motion Pictures promoting films from Walt Disney Pictures, DreamWorks SKG, Paramount, Warner Brothers, Sony, Universal, Lionsgate, and IFC Films. Dave’s film and publishing experience now lends itself to his current role in leading WTA Media publishing efforts.
Executive Director, Film & TV
Adam Hastings has over a decade of entertainment industry experience in both film and music, guiding the marketing campaigns and consulting for brands such as the God’s Not Dead franchise and top Christian recording artist, Newsboys. While at Pure Flix Entertainment, he served as Vice President of Theatrical Marketing and led campaigns for films such as Do You Believe?, Woodlawn, and God’s Not Dead 2. Hastings worked as an independent marketing consultant alongside WTA Media on several projects, including co-leading the theatrical campaign for the Tim Tebow executive produced film, Run the Race, before joining WTA Media as Senior Marketing Director in 2019. In his role, Hastings continues to lead theatrical marketing campaigns and assist in home entertainment marketing initiatives.
Senior Manager of Outreach
Jeremy Carlson is a relationship-focused marketer who crafts mutually beneficial partnerships with organizations and ministries to activate their audiences, helping drive opening box-office results. He has connected top-grossing faith-based films with leading conferences, events, and other large-group faith gatherings. Jeremy's relational connections provide the pathway for premier opportunities for his film, publishing and entertainment projects. Combining the impact of powerful movies with relational marketing, he has served as part of the team for over 35 theatrically released films including I Can Only Imagine, War Room, God’s Not Dead, Breakthrough, Overcomer, American Underdog and many more.
Marketing Manager
Laura Beth Winchester has previously led project management, social media marketing and client relations, bringing years of organizational skills to the WTA team. Additionally, she has managed and curated countless projects including large-scale corporate and university events at her alma mater, Trevecca Nazarene University. Joining WTA Media in 2019 as Marketing Specialist, Winchester works alongside the executive team, directing client-facing communication, social media marketing, and helping execute marketing and strategic plans for film campaigns such as the critically acclaimed, Emanuel and I Still Believe, among other projects.
Publishing Manager
Jenaye Merida brings a wide variety of publishing experience to WTA Media. At B&H Publishing (Lifeway Christian Resources), she served in several roles in author relations, publicity and marketing strategy, implementing campaigns for books such as LIFE by Lisa Harper, U-Turns by Dr. Tony Evans, The God of the Garden by Andrew Peterson, The Good Life by Derwin Gray, You Be You by Jamie Ivey, and Becoming Elisabeth Elliot by Ellen Vaughn. Jenaye has presented products on QVC and Amazon Live, and has been both a guest and host of several podcasts. She has provided marketing strategy for artists such as Point of Grace and Gaither Music’s Lynda Randle, developed marketing and PR workshops for entrepreneurs, and conducted media training for authors and speakers around the country. In her role as Publishing Manager and Literary Agent at WTA Media, she brings a collaborative approach to bridging the CCM and literary world to create compelling books. In addition, Jenaye is fluent in Spanish.
Administrative and Finance Specialist
Anita Williams provides organizational and administrative expertise in the entertainment industry, beginning at Integrity Music, where she managed the production schedule and live recording events for recording artists such as Don Moen, Marty Nystrom, and Paul Baloche. During her tenure at Word Entertainment / Warner Music Group, Anita assisted the Executive Vice President of Distribution and organized sales events surrounding the album releases of top-selling artists such as Amy Grant, Randy Travis, Point of Grace, MercyMe and others. Anita serves as Finance Specialist for WTA Media, coordinating the company's accounting, royalty administration, and business affairs processes.
Marketing Specialist
Ashley Donaldson has a passion for film and the entertainment industry. Holding degrees in marketing and music from both Grove City College and Belmont University, she brings expertise to WTA Media in branding and audience engagement. In her role as Marketing Specialist, Ashley works within the marketing team to coordinate communication on film projects and assist with creative and strategic processes.
