Alex and Stephen Kendrick are a director and producer team who's award-winning films include, Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous, War Room and the upcoming, Overcomer. They have authored the New York Times #1 best-selling book, The Love Dare, along with many other books and Bible Study curriculum based on their films.
Alex Kendrick has been Associate Media Pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia since 1999. Alex and his brother Stephen grew up shooting 8mm "chase 'em down and shoot 'em up" movies, teaming up to help the church establish Sherwood Pictures in 2003. Since then Alex has directed and co-written each of its four films: Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof, Courageous and War Room.
Alex has appeared on ABC, CNN, FOX News, American Family Radio, The Glenn Beck Show, Janet Parshall's America, and many other national programs to discuss his award-winning work and ministry. He lives in Albany with his wife and six children.
Stephen Kendrick has been Associate Teaching Pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church since 2001, teaching classes and overseeing the church's prayer ministry, major events and discipleship program. He also fills in preaching in the senior pastor's absence. He has co-written and produced all four motion pictures produced since Sherwood Pictures' formation.
Stephen has been interviewed by FOX and FRIENDS, The Washington Post, American Profile Magazine, and on many radio shows including Atlanta Talk Radio, American Family Radio, HIS Radio, Moody Radio network. He and wife Jill live with their four children in Albany.
